What a year! It's hard to believe it started with my cat dying and ended with my husband getting diagnosed with cancer, but it did. In between those two terrible events, I managed to publish two books, learn how to balance a new school schedule including learning virtual school with these three kids while chasing my two year old around.... What a busy year, and yet it lacked all the things I'd hoped to do, like go to Ireland in September or visit my family in Canada like I always do...
Now there is hope. There are vaccines made in record time, and it's even possible I'll be able to go back to Canada in 2021, since hopefully with the new president, rationality will return to the US. I hope so anyways. It's been really tough to be trapped inside with no hope of escape... no offense.
And my husband will be fine. He will have surgery and hopefully all will be done. I hope so... I can't imagine a world without him. I don't want to.
I'm about 30% done writing Gravesend. I have a few false starts but finally found the words. It's going well. Lots of unexpected twists with all new mythological creatures to help .... spoiler spoiler spoiler.
In that vein, I must ask for reviews. If you have read my books, please please please go to the following websites and please follow and/or leave a rating and review:
Twitter.com/lapetitewolfe (There's a very boring story behind that name but I will never give it up!)
Anywho... my house is loud and I honestly can't focus on writing... so time to get ready for bed. Sweet dreams, friends.
